Their IBIS interest is as a creators and providers of quality models to internal and external customers. - Review of minutes for August 30 Road map for levels - are Levels cumulative - (probably) - AR Review AR: Bob Haller will put together a list of sections, so people can volunteer for a section (documentation). COMPLETED The following quality committee members have volunteered Bob Haller - IV Curves, Clamp Curves Greg Edlund - SPICE Correlation, Lab Correlation Eckhard Lenski - Possible Errors that should be checked. AR: Lynne Green will collect descriptions and update the checklist. THIS is AWAITING INPUTS * Open: Parser Bug - consistency checking between I-V and V-t curves. - Announcements * EIA Call for Patent Disclosure No companies made a disclosure. * IBIS Summit date (Tuesday, October 15th) First Summit announcement with Call for Papers has gone out. Barry will present Qualify checklist and road map. We have 5 weeks (2 more meetings). Documentation details ironed out by Oct 8th. - Opens for new items AR Barry Katz, Needs to get folks to sign up for remaining documentation items * Parser bugs: BIRD 71 assigned in Open Forum "Enhancement, Low Priority". Bob Ross wants Bob Haller to update the bug and explicitly state the I-V combination rules and zero warning pass criteria for good models. Greg Edlund's BIRD on standard loads has been assigned BIRD 74. Roy Leventhal's BIRD needs test case. * Roadmap for levels Level 0: syntax parser checks, Model can be simulated. Level 1: Model Spec complete, visual checks, validate data sheet information, pinlist is correct and complete, all IBIS values are reasonable (i.e. Ccomp is correct order of magnitude) Level 2: SPICE correlation. Golden Waveforms required in model. Level 3: Correlation to Bench/Lab. Golden Waveforms required . Level 2 and level 3 - Comparison of IBIS data to known good data - per the IBIS accuracy handbook. Shoji raised the issue that on level 2 you can get good correlation to bad Spice models. This may be the case, but model users gain confidence of a model's correct and completeness with each increasing level of quality. We should calculate and document a FOM (Figure Of Merit) for level 2 and 3 (Ibis Accuracy Handbook). What is acceptable ? Discussion regarding requiring a hard number (i.e. 98%) to achieve a certain level of quality. What is acceptable, How does Purchasing review "stamp of approval", without engineering reviewing data ? - Plans for next meeting Continue October release planning. - Schedule for next meeting September 24, 2002 11-12 AM EST (8-9 AM PST) Phone: 408-974-8478 or 800-249-5618 Meeting access: CONFERENCE SERVER 2, Conference ID: 4203 Meeting adjourned at 9 AM PST.
